Vitra’s Flower sofa was designed by the legendary architectural duo SANAA (Kazuyo Sejima and Ryue Nishizawa).
“Flower” is a sofa with a slender center and a leaf-shaped seat reminiscent of a clover or stylized blossom. It comfortably seats at least three people who can communicate or look away from each other and relax in solitude. Originally conceived in 2001, Flower was first used at the 7th Istanbul Biennial. Since then, the sofa has been repeatedly produced in small numbers for individual projects.” (Vitra, Flower)
